The internships of the cooking and living room course begin in the Gastronomic Classroom of Roses

With this course, the Aula Gastronòmica de Roses has begun its career as a training center. The 9 young people enrolled have already received core training and since the end of October have been able to enter the practical part with specific cooking and dining sessions by the School of Hospitality of the Alt Empordà.

The course is organized jointly by the Chamber of Commerce of Girona, the School of New Opportunities AFPAE and the City of Roses and is aimed at young people between 16 and 29 years who are currently not studying or working , and are in the Youth Guarantee System. It offers a total of 155 hours of training and is considered a dynamic and motivating activity. In addition, participants also comp ten , with an individual about their current experience, curriculum and career objectives.

The Aula Gastronòmica de Roses has a total space of about 100 m2 equipped with equipped kitchen and tasting area, a projection screen with zenithal camera for recording the work area and a bleachers for students and public that allows the maximum visibility of the culinary elaborations s. The new space allows from now to Roses to offer training to a sector of great importance for the municipality, the restaurant, thus contributing to the young people can be trained and enter the labor market with the best preparation.
