Roses gives a talk on the right to a dignified death
The activity is part of the program that the Department of Social Action of Roses has prepared to offer citizens all the current information about the dignified death and what are the rights of people in this area. The demand for a dignified death led to the approval of a motion by the city council in favor of the euthanasia law, which has been a reality since last June.
To deepen and open the debate on what a dignified death means for each person, what are the desires in the end-of-life process and what means we have to make them a reality, Roses programmed during the summer the show La mort , dignified illustrated , which will now be complemented by next Tuesday's talk.
The event has been conceived as an information session where attendees will be able to resolve doubts and learn about the means and procedures available once the Law for the Regulation of Euthanasia (LORE) has been approved, which will enter into force on 25 June. The Councilor for Social Action of the City of Roses, Bonaterra Esther says qu e "live with dignity is a right to die with dignity too" .
Among the aspects regulated by the new regulations is the processing of the Document of Advance Wills Vital Testament, which allows to express the will on the medical care that is desired to receive or not in case of suffering an irreversible or terminal illness, that leads to a state which prevents him from expressing himself. This document can now be processed at Roses City Council, after the training carried out by the staff of the Citizen Service-SAC.
